NEW MUSIC: Three Robots, One Sad

An experiment with the Multi-Arp section in Arturia's Synthx V, an emulation of the Elka Synthex from years gone by. Also features original patches for the Porphyra Hybrid synth for Kontakt. Three Robots, One Sad by GerenM

NEW MUSIC: Bargain Bebop

Improvisational free-form bebop jazz fusion. Yeah, say that three times fast. This one came together -- or came at me -- fast, goofing around with a funky percussive groove in Native Instruments FM8 and a bit of organ improv. I laid down the Hammond B3 riffs using Arturia's B-

NEW MUSIC: The Long Goodbye

I've been sitting on the release of this song for a couple of weeks now -- I couldn't bring myself to finish and upload the song. The Long Goodbye is about loss; about saying goodbye to friends and loved ones taken by diseases like cancer or dementia

NEW MUSIC: Flying With Floyd

An ambient live jam recorded August 12, 2024 during my regular Monday night live stream on YouTube. Flying With Floyd features my Polybrute Noir (proving that, even with the shiny new version out, there's still plenty of life left in the original 6-voice model) and opsix, along

NEW MUSIC: The Inner Workings of Leonid Podolski

NEW MUSIC: Morana's Call

NEW MUSIC: 23rd Winter No. 14

In the heart of the woods, where the trees whisper secrets of old, there lies a frozen lake as still as glass. From its icy depths, a figure of gothic beauty emerges, her presence as enigmatic as the moonlit night. She is the silent guardian of the forest, her eyes

NEW MUSIC: The Path of the Mystic

Here's another fresh, new track I've released on Bandcamp. The Path of the Mystic by GerenM In this track, east meets west for a mystical journey, inspired by the sounds of a new software instrument from Arturia called Augmented Yangtze. In fact, I used three of

NEW MUSIC: Mythos of the Abyss and Swamp Funk

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been releasing new music on my Bandcamp page, but have neglected to post about it here! I am remiss! These both depart from my safety zone of ambient music, but I've really enjoyed making them. Take a listen, and

NEW MUSIC: DomraTEK

No, I wasn't live on YouTube this week, but I did create something new! David Hilowitz released a couple of new instruments for Decent Sampler this past week, and I started fooling around with one of them -- the Domra. DomraTEK is the result. The domra is a traditional
